Grove City County Market is looking to hire a creative Floral/Bulk Foods Department Associate. The floral/bulk foods department associate will assist in the designing, creating, and selling of standard and customized floral arrangements to customers. The floral/bulk foods department associate responsibilities include advising customers on suitable floral arrangement selections, wrapping completed floral arrangements, unpacking and organizing deliveries, stocking and maintaining the bulk foods department and ensuring that the floral and bulk departments are clean and well-organized.
This position is 4-5 days per week and would include daylight shifts, and weekends.
Floral/Bulk Foods Department Associate Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that flowers are properly watered and stored to prevent wilting.
- Selecting and arranging flowers and decorative items to create standard and customized floral arrangements.
- Serving in-store customers.
- Maintaining an accurate record of floral arrangement orders, special requests, and delivery information.
- Advising customers on the proper care and maintenance of their selected floral arrangements.
- Stock and package items in the bulk foods department
- Maintain a clean workspace in the Floral and Bulk Departments.
