Description: The admissions counselor fulfills recruiting goals by counseling students and implementing sales tactics to encourage enrollment by those students who are likely to thrive at Grove City College. The admissions counselor serves as a counselor-salesperson to meet the college’s recruitment goals for his or her assigned territory by interviewing prospective students and their parents on campus, developing leads, and interacting with prospective students at college fairs and high school visits.
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree from Grove City College in a related field. The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and possess strong organizational and computer skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to various fairs and schools. There will be some evening and weekend commitments. Candidates must also be able to communicate how their faith will be articulated in their day-to-day engagement with prospective families and how they will represent a Christ-centered Christian college.
