Grove City Brewing Company & Plum Run Winery is seeking an energetic, hospitality-focused Bartender/Server to join our team.

This position serves as the beverage hub for the entire restaurant and requires the ability to efficiently manage both guest-facing service and high-volume service ticket production. Bartender/Servers are responsible for serving guests at the bar while preparing beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, and specialty beverages for the entire restaurant.

This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude while juggling multiple priorities. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys creating great guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests seated at the bar
• Take food and beverage orders, deliver meals, process payments, and ensure an outstanding guest experience
• Prepare beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, and specialty beverages for both bar guests and restaurant service tickets
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during busy service periods
• Learn and confidently discuss our craft beer, winery, cocktail, and food offerings
• Make recommendations and upsell beverages, desserts, merchandise, and take-home products
• Keep the bar clean, stocked, organized, and guest-ready at all times
• Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and leadership
• Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous full-service restaurant serving experience required
• Previous bartending experience required
• Comfortable preparing made-to-order craft cocktails using established recipes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Ability to manage both bar guests and restaurant beverage production simultaneously
• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: Hourly plus tips

• Day shifts
• Night shifts
• Weekends required
• Holidays as needed

Experience:

• Full-service restaurant serving: 1 year preferred
• Bartending: 1 year preferred
