What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Grova Creative?
We’re seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, marketing, and advertising, with the ability to create engaging, on-brand visuals across a wide variety of media.
This person should be a self-starter, a strong collaborator, eager to learn, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once. You’ll work on everything from print and digital graphics to logos, layouts, animation, campaign creative, and more.
This is an in-office/hybrid role based in Tallahassee, Florida. Relocation is required for non-local candidates. At this time, we are not considering fully remote applicants.

Responsibilities
As a Graphic Designer, you will:
- Study design briefs and determine project requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on creative direction and client needs
- Prepare rough drafts, mockups, and design presentations
- Develop illustrations, logos, layouts, and other creative assets
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and the Creative Director to produce final work
- Create graphics for print, digital, social, web, and other media
- Test graphics across various formats and platforms
- Revise and refine designs based on feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually compelling, accurate, and on-brand
- Support additional creative projects and agency needs as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop; familar with Canva
- A strong portfolio showcasing design range, creativity, and attention to detail
- A fearless attitude toward technology and a willingness to learn new tools
- The ability to work quickly while managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
- A collaborative, self-starting team spirit
- Familiarity with digital trends, social media, and relevant media formats
- The ability to receive feedback fluidly while also contributing a point of view on style and aesthetics
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- 3 years of design experience preferred
Experience or knowledge in any of the following is a plus:
- Web design/Webflow, Wix, etc.
- After Effects
- Premiere Pro
- Figma
- Photography
- Animation or motion graphics
- A degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
Compensation:
- Pay is dependent on experience.
