Job Description:
GHF is seeking a full-time QA Lead to direct the Company’s quality assurance program. This position will assume a variety of responsibilities to ensure the Company’s products meet the necessary safety and quality standards before, during and after production.
The job will require physical stamina, including regular standing, walking and bending, and the ability to work in various temperature conditions as the role will be a combination of office work and being out on the production floor.

- Lead daily production inspections and critical process checks
- Maintain standard QA SOP’s
- Perform food safety and product quality checks (e.g. pH, salinity, brix)
- General food production process checks throughout the day (e.g. temperature, lid seal)
- Inspect products and packaging for correct specifications prior to shipping
- Manage the Company’s SQF (Safe Quality Food) program and lead annual audit
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)’s) are being followed
- Maintain various spec sheets, audit requests and other quality checks
- Regular and reliable attendance required
- Oversee a team of 1-2 people
- Perform all other duties as assigned by a supervisor

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Prior quality experience, especially in food, is preferred
- Bilingual English / Spanish preferred
