Position Overview:
As a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), you will play an important role in supporting residents with daily living needs, assisting the nursing staff, and helping maintain a comfortable and safe environment. This position is ideal for an LNA who enjoys working in a resident-focused healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Help residents with mobility needs, including lifting, repositioning, and transferring between beds, wheelchairs, and common areas.
Support proper nutrition and hydration by assisting with meals, feeding residents when needed, and monitoring intake.
Observe and document resident information including weights, skin condition, and general health status.
Communicate any changes in a resident’s condition to nurses or supervisors promptly.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided throughout the shift.
Follow infection prevention guidelines and facility safety policies.
Contribute to a positive and supportive care environment while working collaboratively with other Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) and nursing staff.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.
Active LNA certification in the state of New Hampshire.
Prior healthcare or long-term care experience is helpful but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Compassionate, dependable, and attentive to resident needs.
Basic knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology preferred.
