Commercial Lines Account Manager

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commercial Lines Account Manager role based in Deer Park, NY. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will manage a book of commercial insurance business, including, but not limited to policy renewals, endorsements, certificates, and coverage changes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to responding to client inquiries, providing timely and precise customer service, and coordinating with carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and resolve issues. The role involves reviewing coverage, identifying gaps or opportunities, and presenting recommendations that align with clients’ business and risk management needs. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will also maintain thorough documentation in agency management systems, collaborate with producers and other team members, and ensure compliance with agency procedures and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines Coverage, including new business, renewal, and servicing processes.
• Proven Account Management skills, with experience managing a book of business, handling renewals, and prioritizing multiple client needs.
• Excellent Customer Service capabilities, including clear communication, problem-solving, and a client-focused approach.
• Commercial insurance industry experience, preferably in an agency or brokerage environment, with active Property & Casualty license in good standing.
• Proficiency in Applied EPIC is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.

Pay Structure We offer base pay of $20-$30 per hour based on experience and other qualifications, and we provide the opportunity for you to grow your own book of business on your own time with competitive commissions. Some bonus opportunities may also be available down the line.

Schedule Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Full-time employees are expected to be in the office Monday-Friday, while part-time employees will have more flexibility in working days and hours.
