- Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner, providing them with the information they need
- Assist technicians, service advisors, and the sales department in identifying, locating, and obtaining the correct automotive parts for repairs or maintenance
- Manage parts inventory, shop supplies, and maintain accurate records using inventory management systems
- Process orders, receive and stock incoming parts, and ensure inventory is stocked in the correct location
- Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner
- Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date
- Answer telephone calls promptly and provide professional service ensuring the customer’s needs are met
- Inform customers of any current specials
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and vendors
- This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a solid understanding of automobiles to ensure efficient and accurate service for both internal and external GP1 employees
- Automotive parts department experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Ability to work well in a process-driven environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
