What You’ll Do
As an IT Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will gain practical experience working with programming, compliance, and data analytics functions within a modern and evolving technology environment. This role is designed to give you exposure to real projects and systems while sharpening your technical skill set.
Responsibilities Include
- Support programming tasks and contribute to development work on IT initiatives
- Assist with compliance-related documentation, reviews, and process validation
- Gather, organize, and analyze data for ongoing analytics projects
- Collaborate with the Director of IT and cross-functional team members on technology initiatives, utilizing modern tech stacks and robotic process automation (RPA) tools to support continuous improvement efforts
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA
- Foundational programming or coding skills with familiarity in modern technology stacks, and a willingness to continue learning and expanding technical skills
- Strong coachability with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Paid internship
- Hands-on experience with programming, compliance, and data analytics
