Responsibilities
Application Support & Development
- Assist with the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of internal business applications.
- Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and system improvements.
- Troubleshoot application issues and assist with problem resolution.
- Assist in supporting system integrations and data workflows between enterprise applications.
- Help monitor and validate data interfaces to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Support integration testing and documentation activities.
- Work with business users and IT teams to understand application needs and support technical solutions.
- Assist in gathering business requirements and documenting system changes.
- Provide responsive support to internal users by troubleshooting application-related issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, process guides, and application support materials.
- Participate in application testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Follow established development standards, coding practices, and documentation requirements.
- Develop knowledge of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, and software development practices.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and participate in training opportunities to build technical skills.
- Contribute ideas for improving applications, processes, and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 0–2 years of experience in application development, application support, IT systems, or a related technical role (internships or co-op experience welcomed).
- Basic understanding of software development concepts and application lifecycle.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills.
- Exposure to programming languages such as C#, .NET, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Familiarity with SQL, Azure, or cloud-based technologies.
- Exposure to APIs, integrations, or web services through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
