Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Superintendent for an on-site, full-time position based in Richmond, VA. The Field Superintendent will oversee daily operations at job sites, ensuring project schedules are met, resources are effectively allocated, and safety protocols are maintained. Responsibilities include managing field staff, monitoring project progress and quality, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, addressing on-site challenges, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Field Superintendent plays a critical role in consistently delivering quality work in alignment with Groundworks’ high standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction project management, site supervision, and scheduling
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards, and construction best practices
- Effective communication, organizational, and time management abilities
- Familiarity with foundation repair, waterproofing, or general construction industries is advantageous
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for scheduling, reporting, and communication
- A valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in construction management or related fields are a plus
