What You'll do: This role sits on the Developer Productivity team, building intelligent tools and AI agents that accelerate creation of end-to-end AI applications. The team prototypes and launches domain-specific LLMs, tools, and coding agents fine-tuned to Groundswell’s Agentic AI Platform. Responsibilities Architect scalable software engineering solutions with cross-product impact. Design, build, and deliver high-quality, modular solutions. Enhance engineering best practices company-wide. Collaborate with data scientists to implement AI agents. Build scalable tools enabling faster data/model iteration. Develop visual tools for application development and data science. Work closely with product, UX, front-end, and back-end engineers. Fix bugs, solve problems, and improve products proactively. Mentor junior engineers and support team growth. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; MS preferred. 8 years of software development experience. Strong skills in Python and JavaScript. Proven experience with full-stack web solutions. Solid knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and web development. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Redux, Vue, Angular, etc.). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Must be local to the DC Metro area and able to be onsite 5 days a week Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in engineering or related field. Knowledge of distributed systems, TDD, SQL/NoSQL databases, and performance optimization. Experience leading engineering teams and projects. Experience with C3 AI platform preferred. Salary : $88,160 - $171,641
