Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods with precision and creativity.
- Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to ensure visually stunning presentations.
- Assist in food production and food preparation tasks for daily service, catering events, or special occasions.
- Package baked goods efficiently while maintaining quality standards for retail or wholesale distribution.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with industry regulations.
- Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by providing knowledgeable product information and friendly assistance.
Requirements
- Proven pastry experience with a strong portfolio of cake decorating and dessert creation.
- Extensive kitchen experience in a food industry setting, including baking and food preparation roles.
- Skilled in food handling, knife skills, and maintaining cleanliness standards in the kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and sanitation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant or catering environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
