What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Design Intern position at Groundscapes Inc?
Design cool spaces. See them get built. Get paid to learn.
We’re hiring a Landscape Design Intern at Groundscapes.
If you’re studying landscape design or architecture and wondering how your ideas actually turn into real projects — this is where that happens.
This isn’t a “make redlines and sit in the office” internship. You’ll be in the middle of real work with our team designing and building high-end outdoor spaces across the Omaha area.
Think:
• Pools
• Paver patios
• Outdoor kitchens
• Full backyard transformations
You’ll be:
• Building real site plans and 3D designs
• Going on-site during active construction
• Working with designers, sales, and field crews
• Seeing exactly how your designs get built (and what actually works)
What we’re looking for:
• You’re studying (or recently finished) landscape design or landscape architecture
• You’ve used AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar
• You want hands-on experience — not just another internship
• You’re competitive, coachable, and want to get better fast
Why this is different:
Most interns design things that never get built.
You’ll design things you can actually stand in.
We’ve built a brand-new HQ in Valley, Nebraska where our designers, crews, and clients all work together — so you’ll learn faster than you would anywhere else.
This will turn into a full-time role for the right person.
If that sounds like you, apply or message me directly.
