What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance & Snow Removal Professional position at Groundhog Landscaping and Lawn Care, Inc.?
Job Summary
During the landscaping season, responsibilities may include:
· Professional lawn mowing, trimming, edging and property maintenance
· Spring and fall cleanups
· Mulching and landscape bed maintenance
· Planting and general landscape installation
· Shrub and plant maintenance
· Operating commercial landscaping equipment
· Maintaining clean, professional-looking residential and commercial properties
· Assisting crews with additional landscaping projects as needed
During the winter season, responsibilities will transition into snow and ice management, including:
· Operating snowplow trucks and snow removal equipment
· Plowing commercial and residential properties
· Salting and ice management
· Sidewalk and property snow removal as needed
Working during snow events, including nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays when necessary.
What We're Looking For
Applicants should have:
· Minimum 1 year of professional landscaping experience
· Previous snowplowing or professional snow removal experience
· Experience safely operating landscaping equipment
· A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
· Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
· Strong attention to detail
· Dependability and a strong work ethic
· Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
· Willingness to maintain the quality standards expected on professionally maintained properties
· Experience with commercial properties, commercial mowing equipment, trucks, trailers or other landscape/snow equipment is a plus.
CDL is not required.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
