Ground Up Construction Recruiting is partnered with a well-established, locally owned general contractor in Kearney, NE to help them hire a Travel Superintendent. The first project you'll be managing is a $7M waste transfer station in Grand Island, NE.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $100k-$130k salary
• Hotel paid by company per diem
• 10-15% bonus
• Company truck & gas card
• 401k with a 3% match

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Inspire: Take charge of day-to-day operations, overseeing construction projects and ensuring they meet both high-quality standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other team members to keep projects running smoothly.
• Coordinate & Organize: Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources, and ensure materials are delivered on time to keep projects on track.
• Ensure Excellence: Uphold the reputation for quality by regularly inspecting work to ensure it meets top-tier standards.
• Ensure Safety: Promote a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and standards.
• Manage Budgets: Keep a close eye on costs, ensuring projects stay within budget while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Client Development: Foster positive relationships with clients by providing them with regular updates and addressing any concerns proactively.
• Problem-Solve: When challenges arise, you’ll be the go-to person to find creative solutions and keep the project moving forward.
