Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Lawn Care Professional to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes through a variety of outdoor tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to keep turf healthy and vibrant
- Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, mulching, pruning, and weed control
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and blowers efficiently and safely
- Use power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters for various landscaping tasks
- Maintain hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Assist with tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or excavators
Qualifications
- Proven experience is a MUST in lawn care, landscape maintenance or related outdoor work preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools required
- Familiarity with horticulture principles and gardening techniques beneficial
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction or landscaping machinery safely
- Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting techniques
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
- Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to operate small construction or landscaping equipment a plus
