What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Removal Sidewalk Equipment Operators position at Ground Control?
Motivated individuals to join our team this winter. Ground Control is a full service snow removal company that services commercial and residential clients throughout Bismarck. We are hiring for sidewalk crew leaders. A sidewalk crew leaders responsibilities include driving a company truck from site to site. Operating a tractor with a front mounted snow blower used to clean sidewalks, entryways, store fronts and any other areas not accessible to larger equipment. You will be responsible for up to 3-4 shoveling crew members who do the detail shovel work & to ensure they are clearing snow away from areas that are not accessible to small tractor. The sidewalk machines are fully enclosed and have heater, so you are not exposed to the elements or blowing snow. Lastly you are to ensure that no areas of shoveling are missed to prevent repeat visits or call backs. Shovelers are responsible for the finish shoveling that the snow blowers are unable to blow.
Crew leaders must be able to give direction to shovelers and communicate to ensure routes are done in an efficient and timely manner.
Positions to start when the snow starts to fly usually early to mid-November and running through March/April.

APPLICAINTS MUST:
- Have transportation to and from our shop
- Have a valid Drivers License if operating equipment or trucks on the roadways
- AVAILABLE and willing to work during snow events all season day or night
- Have appropriate clothing to be outside and working in cold temperature
- Bring a positive attitude and work ethic to the job
