Front Desk Sales Associate Rock Climbing Gym
We’re looking for a sales-driven Front Desk Associate to join our rock climbing gym team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on connecting with people, enjoys closing sales, and wants to be part of a high-energy climbing community.
This is not a passive front desk role. You are the first impression of our gym and a key driver of membership growth. If you enjoy sales, relationship-building, and helping people commit to an active lifestyle, you’ll do well here.
What You’ll Do
- Actively sell memberships, day passes, classes, and retail products
- Confidently guide first-time visitors from walk-in → member
- Clearly communicate the value of our gym, programs, and community
- Handle check-ins, waivers, and customer questions efficiently
- Follow up with prospective members and help convert leads
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
- Support gym operations and contribute to a positive team culture
Who We’re Looking For
- Sales experience preferred (retail, fitness, outdoor gear, hospitality, or memberships)
- Comfortable initiating conversations and asking for the sale
- Strong communication skills, friendly, confident, and professional
- Goal-oriented and motivated by results
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Interest in climbing, fitness, or outdoor culture is a big plus (but not required)
