Grote Automotive is seeking self-motivated individuals to join our Sales team as Automotive Sales representatives. This is a full time, sales based position-however-Grote provides ample training along with additional incentives and bonuses
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Engaging with customers on the sales floor and over the phone as needed to meet the customer’s needs.
- Successful completion of appropriate paperwork and documentation for all vehicle sales
- Participating in test drives with customers
- Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers’ vehicles
- Coordinate with the finance department to determine each customer’s financing and ownership options
- Contact past customers to ensure they are satisfied with their vehicles
- All other responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma/GED/ or educational equivalent
- Previous experience in a service, customer facing role such as service industry or food service industry
- Prior automotive sales experience welcomed
- Valid Driver’s license
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft products and web-based software
- Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
The ideal candidate would have a passion for helping others get into a nicer and newer vehicle while drawing on past customer service experience to build a rapport with each customer they engage with. Being able to interact with a diverse customer base while being professional and personable is required to meet the sales goals Grote Automotive places on every Automotive
