Job Summary:
Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen, P.A. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to support our accounting department, with a primary focus on accounts payable. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
· Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment in accordance with company policy
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records
· Assist with month-end closing tasks and account reconciliations
· Support the accounting team with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks
· Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries
Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting support
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (PerfectLaw is a plus)
· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
