Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or EXPERIENCED Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our team.
Tasks to be performed by a CNA/HHA are assigned by and performed under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and in compliance with a plan of care.
Duties may include but are not limited to: assisting the client with maintaining proper personal hygiene; supporting a clean, safe, and healthy environment; planning and preparing nutritious meals; assisting with and demonstrating proper body mechanics during ambulation and transfers; assisting with certain treatments as ordered by the physician and supervised by the RN; assisting with ADLs; accurately measuring and recording the client’s temperature, pulse, and respiration; and accompanying the client to appointments. May also include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene needs, and communicating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to be an advocate for their patients.

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Provide adjunct patient care
Minimum Requirements/Skills:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read and write legibly, consistent with job requirements.
- Basic computer skills such as EVV, electronic timekeeping system
- CNAs: Completed a basic nurse aide training program consistent with Michigan state and federal requirements and obtained the required certification.
- Has the emotional and mental maturity necessary for establishing and maintaining a good work relationship with the client, client’s family, and personnel
- Current CPR Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation
