What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential/Commercial Painting Subcontractor position at Groovy Hues Painting of Troy?
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking reliable, experienced painting crews and independent subcontractors to help manage our interior and exterior residential projects. We handle all of the sales and estimates. Purchasing of paint material is negotiable. Hourly rate is calculated using a fixed percentage of each job, the more jobs you finish the higher the rate.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of running your own painting jobs or independent crews.
- Insurance & Registration: Must possess General Liability Insurance, and Workers' Compensation (or an applicable exemption).
- Tools & Equipment: Must provide your own professional equipment (brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, scaffolding, and reliable work vehicle).
- Quality & Warranty: Must guarantee clean lines, proper surface prep, and stand behind the quality of your team's work.
