PAINT ESTIMATION AND REPAIR CONSULTANT

Groovy Hues of Fort Mill is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Paint Estimation and Repair Consultant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting evaluations and providing accurate and detailed estimates for both commercial and residential projects, and act as a key liaison between clients and our production team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement

Please note: This role does not require cold calling or door-to-door sales. All leads are generated through inbound inquiries, referrals, or marketing efforts.

·     Represent Groovy Hues of Fort Mill with professionalism and enthusiasm, to prospective customers so as to differentiate ourselves from our competition and to further enhance our “Your Style, Made Easy” promise.

• Schedule estimate appointments
• Conduct in-person estimates using the 10 1 Estimation Process, collaborating with clients to understand their needs and vision
• Provide timely, accurate, and clearly written project proposals.
• Schedule and coordinate with Color Consultants/Designers when necessary.
• Send post-estimate follow-emails and thank you notes promptly.
• Maintain consistent communication with prospects to secure projects or document outcomes.

Production Coordination

·        Collaborate closely with the Production Manager and Office Manager to ensure seamless project execution.

·        Clearly document customer needs, expectations, and scheduling preferences in proposal paperwork.

·        Communicate next steps with clients after project confirmation, including introducing the Production Manager.

·        Ensure all project details – including color confirmations – are finalized prior to handoff to production team.

·        Follow up with clients post-completion to ensure satisfaction and request referrals.

·        Document and photograph any challenging production situations or client concerns during the estimate process.

·        Capture high-quality before and after photos and videos of each project to showcase results and support marketing efforts.

·        Ensure branded lawn signs are placed in a visible area during the active projects.

  Administrative & Reporting

·        Update lead profiles, job profiles, and proposals daily in CRM.

·        Prepare weekly performance analysis for supervisor review and goal-setting sessions.

·        Participation in ongoing training conferences/meetings at the regional and/or national level.

Qualifications

·        Strong interpersonal and communications skills

·        Customer-focused with a consultative sales approach

·        Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

·        Ability to manage multiple projects and follow through consistently

·        Previous experience in sales, estimates, or the painting industry a plus but not required
