Description:
The Lead Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while managing front desk operations and supporting dealership administrative functions. This role will serve as the first point of contact for customers and provide leadership to the reception team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assist all guests with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Answer and direct incoming calls efficiently using a multi-line phone system.
- Oversee the daily schedule and performance of the reception team.
- Train and support reception staff, ensuring consistent coverage and high service standards.
- Create monthly schedules for other receptionist and keep managers informed of staff schedules and performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including mail distribution, filing, and document management.
- Collaborate with department managers to support dealership communication and customer flow.
- Handle customer inquiries and escalate issues to the appropriate department as needed.
- Ensure reception processes and procedures are followed consistently.
- 2 years of receptionist or front desk experience, preferably in a dealership or customer service environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning dealership systems (e.g., VinSolutions, Paylocity, and Dealertrack).
