GROOME INDUSTRIAL SERVICE GROUP is a growing company in Denville, NJ providing specialty maintenance services nationwide for several industries including natural gas-fired power generation, refinery, shipping, manufacturing, and aviation. We are seeking skilled painters with a strong work ethic and reliability to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in using a variety of paint products and materials, including primers, single stages, basecoats, and clearcoats. The ability to work on both small and large items individually or as part of a two-man team is crucial. The painter will be responsible for maintaining the flow of work within the paint booths, ensuring high-quality finishes, and working closely with the team to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and apply a variety of paint systems with precision and consistency

Paint components of various sizes while meeting quality standards

Work independently or as part of a two-person team to complete assignments

Maintain consistent workflow through the paint booths

Support preparation activities including sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces

Collaborate with team members to ensure job quality and timely completion

Properly manage and dispose of paint waste in compliance with safety standards

Keep the work area organized, clean, and safe

Lift and move items up to 50 lbs. as needed
