Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a skilled, detail-oriented groomer who thrives independently, communicates well with pet parents, and ensures each pet receives the highest quality care.
Responsibilities
· Provide professional grooming services (bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, deshedding, etc.) for dogs and cats in our state-of-the-art mobile grooming van.
· Consult with pet owners to understand grooming requests, coat conditions, and any special needs.
· Maintain a calm, compassionate, and safe environment for pets during the grooming process.
· Safely operate and maintain the mobile grooming unit, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
Qualifications
· 3 years of professional grooming experience (mobile grooming experience preferred, but not required).
· Strong knowledge of breed-specific cuts, coat care, and handling techniques.
· Comfort working independently in a mobile environment.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Physical ability to lift pets of all sizes and stand for extended periods.
· Passion for animals and commitment to their overall health and well-being.
· Desire to continually learn new things and perfect your craft with each additional groom completed.
