We’re seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team and support our licensed funeral directors and the families we serve.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Help with services, including set-up, guest assistance, parking, etc.
- Respond promptly to first calls, including evenings and weekends, on-call
- Transport decedents from hospitals, nursing homes, residences, and other locations
- Run errands for death certificates, post office, and vehicles
- Maintain knowledge of all divisions of the organization to assist families and visitors
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
- Compassionate and professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work on-call shifts
This role is part-time, and hours are worked as needed. The role will operate out of our main office and Sandusky Chapel, located at 1607 E Perkins Ave in Sandusky, Ohio.
