Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with fresh produce, ensuring items are organized, properly labeled, and visually appealing
• Use RF scanners and other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks to receive, unload, and organize shipments
• Rotating produce to prevent spoilage
• Assist customers with product inquiries, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and deliver excellent customer service
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are upheld through routine cleaning of displays, work areas, and equipment
• Collaborate with team members on merchandising initiatives to promote produce sales and enhance store presentation

Skills

• Strong inventory management skills with experience in stock control and retail store product knowledge
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting techniques
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising tasks
• Basic math skills necessary for retail math calculations related to inventory counts and pricing
• Customer service-oriented mindset with effective communication skills to assist shoppers confidently
• Experience in grocery or retail store environments is desirable for understanding retail sales dynamics and merchandising standards

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
