Duties
- Stock shelves with produce, packaged goods, and other grocery items, ensuring products are properly displayed and labeled.
- Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels and update stock records in real-time.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and transport heavy shipments safely within the warehouse or store.
- Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify stock shortages or discrepancies and report them promptly.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading deliveries efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, back rooms, and sales floors through routine cleaning and organization.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively to maximize sales potential and enhance customer experience.
Experience
- Previous warehouse or retail experience is highly desirable, especially familiarity with grocery store operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and RF scanner technology is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts; certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, packaging, and maintaining displays.
