Teacher/Special Education (Early Learning Program)
The Special Education Teacher in the ELP classroom is responsible teaching psychomotor, cognitive, affective, and social skills to pre-school children in the Greeneville City School system. Also responsible for overseeing on-site operations of the pre-school program and for providing instruction to special needs students and maintaining required paperwork at federal, state, and local levels. Also responsible for teaching TN State Standards and leading students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, psychological growth, and maturation. Assisting students with daily life functions (toileting, eating, etc.) may be required. The teacher will lead a classroom with multiple assistants, managing a team setting. This Full Time position DOES include benefits.
Applicants must have a current valid educator license including a Special Education Early Childhood PreK-3 (459) endorsement. CPR/First Aid certifications are required. Must have strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.

Pay Scale: Certified / Salary
