Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a clinical environment. Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals in various clinical tasks, including taking patient histories and vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans, using electronic health record systems. Experience with ECW helpful
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical and aesthetic setting.
- Educate patients on proper exercise techniques, diet and wellness activities
Experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physical exam medication administration is essential.
- Experience with the Prior Authorization process desired
- Experience working in a clinical environment is advantageous.
