Job Overview
The Cash-Vault Clerk role is responsible for all aspects of cash processing and inventory controls and includes office duties. This position necessitates, but is not limited to, the unrestricted physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift items weighing from 30-55 pounds. The Cash-Vault Clerk position is typically Monday-Friday and requires the flexibility to work 8-10 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities
§ Manually load processing machines with loose cash for counting and sorting.
§ Package and audit currency for quality and accuracy; this includes packaging bagged currency.
§ Verify customer deposits and prepare outgoing orders.
§ Audit and balance vault inventories.
§ Monitor machine function and perform cleaning or light repair as needed.
§ Replenish and maintain production supplies.
§ Implement inventory control.
§ Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and work areas.
§ Perform office duties, including data entry, answering phone calls, and operating Microsoft Office programs.
§ Continuously adhere to all Company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
§ Execute other duties or special projects upon demand.
§ Maintain a professional presence at all times.
Qualifications
§ Be at least 18 years of age.
§ Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
§ Able to meet physical demands of the position, including:
o Standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, etc. (up to 8hrs per day).
o Lifting and carrying coin bags/boxes weighing up to 55 pounds.
o Handling regular exposure to moderately loud noise and machinery.
§ Demonstrate ability to complete basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
§ Able to complete daily inventory and paperwork.
§ Show proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
§ Demonstrate aptitude and ability to learn and apply production, small machine repair and maintenance, and/or warehouse work techniques.
§ Present a professional image at all times while on duty.
§ Exercise interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
§ Exhibit strong ethics, integrity, and reliability.
