Job Summary
The Parking & Security role plays a crucial role in maintaining order and safety in public and private parking areas. This position involves monitoring parking compliance, issuing citations for violations, and providing excellent customer service to the public. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills and a commitment to upholding local parking regulations. Security officers will be trained, and will be able to work standing body guard work, patrolling properties, and doing security for events throughout the year. Both parking enforcement and security will need to have clean backgrounds.
Duties
- Patrol assigned areas to monitor parking compliance and ensure adherence to local regulations.
- Issue citations for parking violations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Engage with the public to provide information regarding parking rules, regulations, and enforcement procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, violations, and enforcement activities.
- Address conflicts or disputes with motorists in a professional manner, utilizing conflict management techniques.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed to address issues related to parking enforcement.
- Maintain accurate records of all citations issued and follow up on outstanding violations as necessary.
Requirements
- Strong report writing skills to document incidents and enforcement actions clearly and accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Proven conflict management abilities to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in various situations.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
