Truck Driver (Class A CDL)
Rate of pay $25.00 per hour Seasonal, Local Routes, Home Nightly
Position Summary
Will be responsible for transporting agricultural products, equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers safely.
Transport agricultural products, bins, hoppers, Live floor, equipment, and supplies to designated locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Secure loads to ensure safe transportation.
Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery paperwork.
Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.
Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL and current DMV print out
Clean driving record.
Current DOT Medical Certificate.
Ability to safely operate trucks with manual transmissions (preferred).
Forklift experience is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
Agricultural experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills
Experience hauling agricultural commodities.
Knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance.
Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment.
Familiarity with California agricultural regulations.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Schedule
Monday–Friday (some weekends)
Day shift, with occasional early mornings and extended hours during peak season.
