What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hvac Installer - Telluride position at Grizzly Air?
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Installer with strong ductless mini-split experience to join our team. You’ll install residential and light commercial systems, with a focus on high-quality ductless work, while supporting our growing service and installation operations.
What You’ll Do
Install ductless mini-split systems (indoor and outdoor units, line sets, condensate, electrical)
Perform traditional ducted HVAC installations and related work as needed
Handle refrigerant recovery, charging, and system commissioning
Ensure clean, code-compliant installations that meet our quality standards
Work efficiently alongside other technicians and coordinate with the office
Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude on every job
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience installing ductless systems (Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu, or similar preferred)
EPA Section 608 certification (required)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail, clean workmanship, and problem-solving skills
Physical ability to lift equipment, work in attics/crawlspaces, and handle typical job-site conditions
