Elite Grit Manager (Full-Time)
Gritworks Athletics – Bellingham, WA
Location: Gritworks Athletics – Bellingham, WA
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week), Monday–Friday with afternoon and evening coaching hours and occasional Saturday events or training sessions.
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role
As the Elite Grit Manager, you will lead our Elite Grit performance program while helping oversee the daily coaching operations of the facility.
This is a leadership role for someone who wants to make a lasting impact. You'll coach athletes, mentor coaches, build relationships with families, oversee athlete progress, and ensure every training session reflects the Gritworks standard.

What You'll Do
- Lead Elite Grit training sessions
- Assist with Jr. Grit sessions as needed
- Oversee daily coaching operations
- Deliver high-level coaching in speed, strength, movement, and athletic performance
- Build strong relationships with athletes and parents
- Conduct athlete assessments and monitor progress
- Ensure every session delivers an exceptional athlete experience
- Mentor assistant coaches and maintain coaching standards
- Help drive athlete retention and member experience
- Support consultations and new athlete onboarding
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment

Preferred Qualifications
- Coaching or strength & conditioning experience
- Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, or related field (preferred but not required)
- CSCS, NASM, USAW, or other coaching certifications are a plus
- Experience working with youth and high school athletes
