Job Duties and Responsibilities

Walkthrough of facility, ascertain census, and prioritize tasks.

Meet with EVS Director for changeover and daily instruction.

Monitor supply closets and equipment closets to ensure they are stocked and organized.

Delegate tasks to staff members in order or priority.

Plan floor projects for heavy cleaners on evening and graveyard shifts.

Assist in completing setups as needed.
Required Licenses:
Must have a valid Driver's License and automobile insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent, preferred.
- Preferred experience in and knowledge of floor work pertaining to; stripping, waxing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning.
- Prefer previous knowledge of hospital cleaning techniques and experience with using hospital grade chemicals and equipment.
Environmental Conditions:
Inside with occasional outside work. Occasional exposure to wet conditions with water, disinfectant, and mopping solutions. Frequent exposure of toxic or caustic chemicals in handling cleaning supplies. Handling biomedical and pharmaceutical waste streams.
