Role Description The Licensed Social Worker will provide direct clinical services to clients, including psychosocial assessments, individual counseling, and family support interventions, in alignment with agency policies and professional standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing treatment plans, coordinating care with psychiatrists and other providers, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, and participating in case consultations and clinical supervision as required. The role also involves supporting crisis intervention, connecting clients with community resources, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. This is a contract position and is structured as a hybrid role, with primary work based in Fairfield, NJ and some work-from-home flexibility for telehealth services and documentation.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey license as a Social Worker (LSW) in good standing, with adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards.
- Demonstrated clinical skills in psychosocial assessment, individual and family therapy, and treatment planning for diverse populations.
- Experience working with behavioral health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and co-occurring challenges.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills, with proficiency in electronic health records and basic computer applications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage clients respectfully and nonjudgmentally.
- Ability to manage a hybrid schedule, balancing in-person services in Fairfield, NJ with telehealth sessions and remote administrative tasks.
