What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Liaison (Home Care – Field-Based) position at Griswold Rabinovitz Division?
Title: Community Liaison (Home Care – Field-Based)
Location: Metrowest Boston & Worcester County, MA
Who We Are
At Griswold Home Care, we’re part of a nationally recognized brand with over 40 years of experience helping people navigate care, while proudly serving Metrowest Boston since 1992 and Worcester County since 2001.
Sometimes it’s a family member looking for support.
Sometimes it’s a client reaching out for themselves.
Sometimes it’s a friend, neighbor, or professional trying to help someone in need.
No matter who makes the call, they’re often facing an important -and emotional - decision.
That’s where we come in.
Our mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and delivering the right care, by the right caregiver, at the right time. We’re known for something we call our “Griswoldness” - a unique combination of heart, accountability, and a deep commitment to doing things the right way.
About the Role
We are looking for a Community Liaison who thrives in the field, building relationships, creating opportunities, and ensuring Griswold is the first call, whether it’s a family member, client, friend, or professional; when non-medical home care is needed.
This is not a desk job. It’s for someone energized by being on the road, meeting people, and turning conversations into long-term partnerships and referrals.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources (hospitals, rehab centers, senior living communities, social workers, case managers, etc.)
- Represent Griswold in the community through networking events, meetings, and local partnerships
- Grow brand awareness and ensure Griswold is top-of-mind across your territory
- Collaborate on marketing efforts including social media, digital presence, and local campaigns
- Help maintain consistent branding and messaging
- Learn our operations inside and out—including caregiver onboarding, client intake, and the matching process—so you can speak authentically about what sets us apart
- Partner with care coordinators and internal team members to align growth with exceptional service delivery
Who You Are
- You thrive on being on the road and in front of people most of the day
- You are resilient—hearing “no” motivates you to build toward a future “yes”
- You’re a natural relationship-builder who earns trust quickly and genuinely
- You take ownership and operate with a business development mindset
- You’re curious and want to deeply understand how the business works—not just promote it
- You’re comfortable spending some time in the office learning operations and collaborating internally
- You genuinely care about helping people and want your work to have purpose
What Success Looks Like
- Griswold becomes a trusted, go-to referral partner in your territory
- You build strong, lasting relationships throughout the community
- You contribute to consistent client growth
- You embody and communicate our “Griswoldness” in every interaction—internally and externally
Requirements
- Experience in business development, marketing, sales, or community outreach (healthcare or home care preferred, but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a primarily field-based role
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally on a daily basis
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $65,000 – $75,000 depending on experience
- Uncapped, performance-based bonus tied to new business development
- On-target earnings (OTE) typically range from $75,000 – $110,000 in the first year, with higher earning potential as the territory grows
- Health, dental, and vision insurance options
- 401(k) plan with eligibility after applicable waiting period
- Paid time off including vacation, sick time, and company holidays
- Mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate
Growth Opportunity
This role offers meaningful growth potential for the right person. As a locally owned and operated office, we value initiative, leadership, and long-term commitment—creating opportunities to expand your responsibilities, influence, and impact over time.
To Apply
Send your resume and a short note about why this role interests you. If you’d like, share an example of a time you turned a “no” into a “yes”—we value persistence, creativity, and follow-through.
