Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator to amplify our organization’s presence within the community and foster meaningful relationships. Duties/Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Builds relationships with the community, clients, admin staff and caregivers to grow and maintain Griswold’s brand and footprint.
- Builds relationships with clients and their families to match them with caregivers who can provide the needed services.
- Perform client intakes to gather information required for signing families up for our services.
- Complete monthly check-ins with clients, ensuring they are satisfied with the services we are providing.
- Documents and notifies Griswold’s administrative support staff immediately of any incident or development that might result in a claim being filed for or against the office or Griswold Home Care.
Community Liaison
& Marketing Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential referral sources, Including, hospitals, rehabs, doctor's offices, apartment/condominiums, nursing homes, assisted living communities, hospice agencies etc.
· Act as a spokesperson for the company in community-related matters, particularly within the non-medical home care space.
· Cultivate a positive public image through effective communication and outreach.
o Represent the company at local events, health fairs, and meetings related to non-medical home care.
o Collaborate on community initiatives to enhance the company's social impact in the non-medical home care sector.
o Social media marketing to promote brand awareness.
· Assist in promotion of the company and recruitment of Caregivers.
Skills
- Proven experience in community engagement, outreach, or related roles with strong community management skills
- Excellent public speaking abilities and experience delivering public presentations for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for project planning and reporting purposes
- Strong media relations skills with an understanding of social media management tools and social media marketing strategies
- Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to different audiences
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to develop strategic plans for community engagement initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Experience in customer service, client communication, volunteer management, or business development is highly desirable
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for engaging diverse communities effectively
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and data collection methods to evaluate program success
