CNA Caregiver
Griswold Home Care for Sumter & Kershaw is looking to hire capable, full-time OR part-time Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties in the greater Kershaw County area of SC. This includes communities such as Camden, Lugoff, Elgin, Kershaw, Wateree, Heath Springs and Great Falls.

This CNA position earns a competitive wage up to $17/hr, depending on your level of experience and the needs level of particular clients. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT / CNA
As a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA, you are proud to help seniors & disabled adults live their best lives within the places they love most. Your assistance with daily tasks allows our clients to live as independently as possible. They appreciate your positive attitude as you competently assess what needs to be done. Whether you’re performing light housekeeping duties, preparing meals, or grocery shopping, you approach each job with cheerful efficiency.
On occasion, you provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia. Always patient and kind, you assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing. Your respectful approach allows clients to maintain their dignity as you help them maintain proper personal hygiene.
Attentive to detail, you keep a log of the duties you perform during your shift. You submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent elderly care. Reliable and conscientious, you check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of your clients. At the end of each day, you feel a sense of pride knowing you make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors & disabled adults!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active/Valid CNA Certification
- Reliable Transportation
- Pass Pre-Hire Screenings
- Authorized to work in USA
- Want to be considered for Client's who need errands / transportation?
- If so, a Driving Record & Proof of Insurance are required.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; we also prefer 2 years of CNA or home care experience but realize some new CNAs may not have that much experience yet. Let's talk anyway...perhaps Griswold is a place to gain that experience! Some other great news is that time spent caring for a loved one also counts as experience in our industry! WORK SCHEDULE
This CNA Caregiver position has flexible hours so may fit whether you want Full-Time or Part-Time. Depending on the needs of our clients, there are opportunities for day or night shifts. Clients may receive as little as 2-4 hours of care, while others require 24-hour care.
