Gristmill Builders specialize in building high end, custom homes in the Stowe, VT area.
Experience:
- We are looking for individuals that want to learn carpentry and advance in our company. Previous experience in construction or related field is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Possess good communication skills, organized and reliable
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Responsibilities:
- Perform & assist in various construction tasks including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, flooring installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, tile laying, concrete forming, masonry, restoration work and other tasks associated with construction
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations on the job site
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
