Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Handle restaurant reservation management using popular table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly via phone or in person
• Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and optimal table utilization
• Uphold food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of reservation areas
• Assist in guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing overall guest satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles with strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including professional phone etiquette
• Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling seating calculations and managing tables accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining a positive attitude
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred to facilitate smooth operations

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
