Job Summary
We are seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join our auto repair shop in West Hazleton, PA. We are looking for someone with experience in brake service, suspension repairs, oil changes, windshield wiper replacement, automotive air conditioning, and alternator diagnosis and replacement.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems, including brake pads, rotors, and calipers.
- Inspect and replace suspension components, including shocks, struts, and control arms.
- Perform oil and oil filter changes.
- Inspect and replace windshield wipers.
- Diagnose and service automotive air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose charging system problems and replace alternators.
- Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely.
- Check completed repairs for proper operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Previous experience performing the automotive services listed above.
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs accurately.
- Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with the team.
