What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Grindhouse Killer Burgers?
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing orientation to employees about company and Grindhouse rules, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in ordering/receiving of product and supplies.
- Participate in providing regular performance reviews for all staff and provide frequent feedback that encourages staff, builds them up, and promotes teamwork.
- Hold all staff accountable by communicating all expectations directly and issuing write-ups when necessary.
- Always be available to solve problems and troubleshoot.
- Have love and passion for the Food & Beverage Hospitality
- Provide an upbeat and inviting guest experience and maintain ambiance to positively contribute to overall guest experience.
- Accurate use of systems provided including but not limited to checklists, prep sheets, ordering, terminating, schedules, opening / closing procedures.
- Assist in monitoring costs including labor, food, and beverage.
- Follow all food safety, food handling, sanitation requirements, and alcohol awareness procedures, to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members.
- Knowledgeable of current POS systems, scheduling, inventory systems, and troubleshooting.
