Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and safety standards.
• Serve food items and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
• Process retail sales transactions smoothly, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment by performing regular cleaning tasks in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Manage food handling responsibilities responsibly to ensure proper storage, sanitation, and compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and resolving any issues with professionalism.
• Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively and managing time efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency but training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales totals.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper beverage preparation techniques is a plus.
• Experience as a barista or in beverage service roles will help you excel in this position.
• Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
