About The Opportunity

Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Farm Food Safety Compliance Specialist responsible to support and strengthen the company’s farm food safety programs by ensuring compliance with the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) audit schemes, the FSMA Produce Safety Rule, and customer requirements. This position functions as a professional compliance specialist under the guidance of the Farming Food Safety Manager and is responsible for ensuring compliance through technical expertise, training, and audit readiness. What You Will Need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety compliance, auditing, or quality assurance within agriculture or fresh produce.
• Demonstrated experience in creating, updating, and implementing food safety programs.
• Knowledge of GAPs, GFSI audit schemes, FSMA Produce Safety Rule, and LGMA required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct risk assessments and resolve non-conformances.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and collaborate across diverse teams.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with compliance or data management systems a plus.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision while working under manager direction.
• Employee may be required to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to including some evenings and weekend travel).
• Bi-lingual, English/Spanish required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV driving record
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen

Total Rewards: $70,304 - $75,000 / YEAR

• Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
