WHO WE ARE: Grimm Brothers Brewhouse started in July 2010 and is the oldest brewery in Loveland and recently expanded to a new location at the Forge Campus. We specialize in German-inspired beers in both traditional and historical styles. Our beers are named and inspired by the famous German writers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. Pay Rate: $12.14 per hour TIPs
Part-time: 10-15 hours per week (nights and weekends)

As a Bartender at Grimm Brothers Taproom, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our patrons by assisting in beer selections, serving our locally brewed beers, and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bar area while upholding the highest standards of quality and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Educate customers about our beers, brewing process, and brewery history.
• Assist customers in making beer selections based on their preferences.
• Maintain an extensive knowledge of our brewery's beer selection and be able to provide recommendations to customers.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, taking orders and ensuring their needs are met.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs, monitoring customer alcohol consumption, and promoting safe drinking practices.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Restock the bar with supplies, including beverages, garnishes, and ingredients.
• Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patrons, fostering a sense of community.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food safety and sanitation standards.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new drink offerings and brewery products

Qualifications:

• ServSafe or TIPS certified preferred (or equivalent state certification for Food and Alcohol handling)
• Previous bartending experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train candidates with a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• An interest in craft beer and a willingness to learn about our brewery's products.
• Knowledge of basic cocktail recipes and drink preparation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• A friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
