Duties
- Assemble products using hand tools and mechanical knowledge, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functional
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment in compliance with safety protocols and FDA regulations
- Prepare finished goods for shipment by accurately packing, labeling, and sealing products according to specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including warehouse areas, to promote a safe working environment
- Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials efficiently within the production area
- Conduct routine inspections of assembled products to verify quality control standards are upheld
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and basic assembly techniques
- Familiarity with packaging processes within a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus for understanding automated equipment operations
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in warehouse or production areas
- Prior warehouse experience with inventory management, shipping, or receiving is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance throughout the assembly process
